Garden Design and Consultancy

Wendy Wright inherited her love for plants and her designs are infused with her love for the landscape. A tour of Europe in her teens provided her with the opportunity to absorb gardens of a different nature to the English Landscape: French symmetry of pattern, Moorish courtyards and the strong sculptural feel of the Classical Italianate tradition. It was at this time that she determined to learn as much as she could about landscape and garden design and garden architecture. 

She carves out space with the confidence and assurance of an experienced eye and has an intelligent and sympathetic understanding of her client’s needs and the possibilities of a site. Many of her clients have opened their gardens to the public as a result of her design skills and ability to create an intangible aura of charm and magic. 

Wendy has designed gardens all over Britain, in California and in Italy, from commanding acres to tiny backyards, for private clients. She continues to return as a Consultant to many of her clients on an annual basis.
